When are the Legendary Hitchhikers playing again?

The answer is: soon!

Thanks to everyone that came out to the DNote for last Sunday’s matinee show.  TLH knocked out three fun sets and introduced a bunch of new tunes.  We’ll be back in action soon but in the meantime, we wanted to ask our fans what other songs you’d like to hear.  Please send requests to info@legendaryhitchhikers.com  and we’ll see what we can do.

April 28th – that’s right, a Sunday!
Very special afternoon matinee engagment @ The D-Note
Olde Town Arvada 3-6 pm $10 at the door

This event has been put together for all our friends and fans that simply cannot make it to a Friday or Saturday night show, this one’s for you!  Plus, kids under 12 are free when accompanied by a paying adult.  Bring them out to see a quality seven piece act!

We are working closely with the D-Note staff to put together a great event. They will be bringing in extra tables and chairs, and will have extra staff on duty to handle what will surely be a sold out full house!

Reserve seating begins at 2pm and ends at 2:30pm.

The D-Note does not have advance ticket sales, so if you want to be assured of getting a seat, please call the D-Note @ 303-GO-DNOTE (303-463-6683) and get on the reservation list.

This is going to be a blast, see you there!

Hello Live Music fans!

The Hitchhikers are back in the saddle again, and coming to the North side of town for a return engagement and “holiday throw-down concert”. At The D-Note in Olde Town Arvada.  The D-Note is a hot-spot for live music, nestled in a great little neighborhood just SW of Wadsworth Blvd. and Ralston Rd. (58th Ave.)

Friday December 28th at 7pm, Tito Malaga starts off the evening with a good dose of Gypsy/Mediterranean music, followed by The Legendary Hitchhikers at 9:30 and their rockin’ tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

Along with a truckload of Tom Petty songs, we will also be doing a few other timeless songs by bands like The Doors, The Wallflowers, and even a special arrangement of a Meters song – originally by The Beatles, covered by Aerosmith, re-written by the Meters and now re-arranged by The Legendary Hitchhikers. Can you guess which song?

Special guest Doug Ryan Moe, will performing a technically challenging, yet spot-on rendition of Sultans of Swing in the second set.
