Come see Tom and Bruce before the election!

The Hitchhikers have a very special show planned on Friday, November 4th up at Nissi’s in Lafayette!  Trouble in the Heartland, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band will be opening the night, facing off with the Legendary Hitchhikers, Denver’s tribute to Tom Petty.  Great food and  a wonderful environment at Nissi’s.  Tickets on sale here.

TLH returns to G.I. Jodi’s!

Our favorite place in the SW!  The Hitchhikers return to G.I. Jodi’s in Littleton on Friday, October 7th.  Music kicks in at 9PM and no cover charge, as usual.  See ya there!

Some fall dates for the Hitchhikers…

The Hitchhikers have a few other obligations (and travel) in the coming weeks, but we’ll be back out on the road soon enough.  Please join us for one or more of these dates around town:

TLH-guy

September 16th (Friday) the 4-piece version of the Hitchhikers will be making a stop at the  Zephyr Lounge on E Colfax, Denver.

September 17th (Saturday) for the Grand Opening of Rusty’s Saloon, Westminster.

September 30th and October 1st (2 nights!) at the Frontier Club in Aurora.

October 7th (Friday) at G.I. Jodi’s in Littleton.

October 14th (Friday), the 4-piece version makes another stop at the  Zephyr Lounge, Denver.

November 4th (Friday) – American Rockers Night at Nissi’s (Lafayette)!  A Springsteen tribute band will open for the Hitchhiker’s special tribute show to Tom Petty.

December 9th (Friday) back at G.I. Jodi’s in Littleton.

Summer is going fast…

Please join us this Sunday (August 14th) for the Hitchhikers last matinee show at the House of Babes.  We’ve got a few more new tunes and we’ll be playing from 3-7PM once again, and no cover.   Then we’ll be taking a well-deserved break for a few weeks.  See ya there!

A few more dates on the road…

9TLH-Riffs2-080516The Hitchhikers will be back at the House of Babe’s on Sunday, July 17th (3-7PM).  Please join us after your Sunday ride!

 

Then we return to Riffs (a Rock & Roll Bar) in Wheat Ridge on Friday, August 5th.  We’ll be playing from 9Pm till 1AM there.  No cover charge and a great venue to see a live act!

 

And then…on Saturday, August 6th, we’ll be at the Douglas County Fairgrounds for a special afternoon appearance (2-4PM).  Please join us for some great shows!

The Hitchhikers ride into Littleton for a major Block Party!

On Saturday, June 11th, the Legendary Hitchhikers will take to an outdoor stage in downtown Littleton for the 12th Annual Magic on Main Street Block Party!  Our stage will be located on Sycamore, just north of Main Street, within walking distance of lightrail – please join us!  festivities run from 6PM till 11PM, including two fireworks shows (dusk and grand finale at 10:45PM).

Here’s more details about the Block Party:

 

  • Located in Historic Downtown Littleton on Main Street, just east of Santa Fe and Bowles
  • 6 stages of live music and entertainment
  • Magicians and buskers stationed throughout the event
  • Antique Fire Trucks
  • Individual booths highlighting Downtown Littleton’s Finest Boutiques and Restaurants
  • Food vendors – Food and Beverage tickets on sale during the event $1 each.  Cash only.
  • Event Sponsors: Historic Downtown Littleton Merchants Association, City of Littleton,  Tri-State Fireworks. Stage Sponsors include Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson, PDA Road Gear, Think Tank Tattoos, Kal Murib, and Reinke Brothers

This year’s event will have several new features including the Freaky Creepy Alley located near Details – Littleton’s own Sideshow, Enter at Your Own Risk!! Buskers, magicians, dancers, and aerialists will entertain you as you visit the food vendors and booths located throughout the 4 block area.

 

5 Bands will be performing:

  • The Legendary Hitchhikers – Denver’s tribute to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers – again, find us on Sycamore, just north of Main Street!
  • Mr. Steak – 80’s Hard Rock
  • The Dave Frisk Band – Folk, blues, classic rock, British and southern rock
  • Float Like Buffalo– A unique combination of folk, funk and rock
  • KenK and the Criminals – Equal parts rock, alt-country, and folk
